Frequently
Asked Questions
What do I
do with my pump when I go to bed?
Your pump will
"take care of itself". It may be placed in a pocket or
clipped to a waistband. It can even be left laying beside you on
the bed (unless you sleep with pets which might chew on the tubing).
But what
about during those "intimate" times?
If you are using
an infusion set with a quick-disconnect feature, you can temporarily
disconnect from your pump (one hour maximum recommended). If you
are using a "regular" type set, just leave it laying on
the bed or clip it to something you may be wearing.
I am an active
person in sports. Will a pump interfere with my lifestyle?
The pump is
about the size of a deck of cards and is contained within an impact
resistant case. The pump can be worn under your clothes or in a
pocket during sports. With proper precautions, you may even swim
with your pump attached.
