Halloween Treat Ideas

 

WITCHY-TIZERS

Spooky Glove Munch —
Fill one plastic glove with candy corn as the fingers and the rest of the glove with popcorn, tie end and serve.

Skeleton Crunch –
Arrange assorted veggies and cheese as a skeleton and use a bowl with ranch dip as the head.

Devil Egg Eyes –
1 egg, cut and prepare as deviled eggs, decorate with olives as the eyes.

Roasted Seeds and Crunch –
Place 1 cup pumpkin seeds, 1 cup cereal mix, salt, pepper, garlic, red pepper in oven at 350 ° for about 15 minutes.

Eyes Of Newt –
Spread 2 Tablespoons cream cheese on tortilla, top with 2 slice roast beef, roll, cut into 8 pieces, top each with cream cheese, olives and red peppers to make them look like eyes.

GHOSTLY GROUL

Fall Apples –
1/2 cup cornbread stuffing, 3 oz pork sausage, place in 1/2 cored apple, top with apple cider, bake 350° for 30 minutes.

Pumpkin Soup –
1 cup chicken broth, 1/2 cup pumpkin goo, dash of curry, nutmeg, pepper, heat, top with 1 teaspoon whipped peanut butter and light cream, serve in hallowed-out pumpkin bowls.

Monster Guts –
1 cup spaghetti with 3 oz meat balls, serve in green peppers decorated as monsters.

Worm Burgers –
1/3 cup bean sprouts, 3 oz ground beef, mix, cook; serve with extra spouts on top.

Cran-Pork Side –
3 oz pork tenderloin, simmer 1/2 peel apple, 1/4 cup cranberries, 1/4 cup orange juice, pour over pork, serve with 2 oz slice cornbread or pumpkin bread .

GOBLIN TREATS

Mud Cup –
Mix 1/2 cup chocolate pudding, 2 tablespoons whipped topping, and 2 crushed chocolate sandwich cookies, top with small candy (chocolate chips) for a face.

Witch Basket –
Scoop out middle of 1 cupcake or muffin, place 1/2 cup vanilla pudding or yogurt into middle, spread chocolate frosting on sides and top, decorate with green cake gel and top with one piece of black licorice for handle.

Ghost Crunch –
Spread cream cheese or whip topping in ghost shape on top on ritz or graham cracker, add raisin pieces for eyes and nose.

Monster Pop –
Insert wooden stick into fig Newton; decorate with mini marshmallows, halloween sprinkles or candy to resemble monster faces.
