The I-Port™

A NEW and better way to deal with injection therapy!

I-Port

The new I-Port™ is a simple medication delivery device designed to help relieve the hardships associated with multiple daily injections. It was developed by KK Patton, a woman with diabetes, with the aim of improving the health and quality of life for people with diabetes and other chronic conditions. The I-Port™ provides both adults and children a simple way to administer prescribed medications without repeated skin punctures.

The I-Port™ limits skin punctures and bruising

Using the I-Port™ requires only one skin puncture every three days. It can accommodate 75 injections, and can be worn for up to 72 hours.

The I-Port™ is comfortable and easy-to-use

An insertion needle is used to guide a soft, flexible cannula under the skin. After application, the insertion needle is removed and only the soft cannula stays in place as a gateway into the subcutaneous tissue. For injections through the I-Port™, the needle of a syringe or an insulin pen is used. The needle remains above the skin, and the medication is immediately delivered through the soft cannula.

The I-Port™ is discreet and convenient

The I-Port™ is only 1.5 inches in diameter and rises just 0.33 inch above the skin, allowing for easy wearing under clothing. It is held in place by a thin, hypoallergenic adhesive pad, and can be worn while bathing, sleeping, and exercising.

The I-Port™ is availble now

The I-Port™ is available by prescription only. Pumps It is proud to be an authorized I-Port™ distributor. If you think you could benefit from the I-Port™, please feel free to contact us.
